The United Nation’s World Environment Day is June 5th, 2018. This day is the UN’s most important day for encouraging worldwide awareness and action for the protection of our environment.   This year’s theme is the effort to beat plastic pollution. Plastic is strangling our oceans and the species that live in them. A recent report found that 70% of marine litter is non-degradable plastic which is projected to increase threefold over the next ten years.
