Leslie Catherwood

As an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, Leslie Catherwood advises government clients on policy and communications pertaining to natural resources issues, including endangered species, migratory birds, invasive species, and habitat protection. Prior to joining Booz Allen, Leslie was the associate director of the Wildlife Refuge Program at The Wilderness Society. In that role, Leslie managed successful campaigns to protect the National Wildlife Refuge System, including the campaign to protect the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Leslie began her career with the Endangered Species Coalition. As the ESC’s first communications coordinator, she served as a lobbyist and policy analyst, editor of the quarterly magazine, media and outreach manager, grassroots organizer, grant writer, and membership coordinator. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Audubon Naturalist Society.
