I’ve had the opportunity to photograph a number of rare and endangered species, and I think of the images I make as a kind of documentation of a world that’s unfortunately—and rapidly—being depleted of its natural resources. I really do believe we’re as accountable for protecting the environment against future harm as we have been for depleting it.
